A native New Yorker and graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, Michele Emanuele began her career in the ateliers of New York’s most storied fashion houses. In 1995, she and her late husband, Vito Emanuele, launched their eponymous label—quickly earning placement in the most prestigious retailers of the era, including Bergdorf Goodman, Barneys, and Neiman Marcus. In tandem, they cultivated a Couture division, laying the groundwork for what would become the Michele Emanuele Collection, which debuted in 2009.

Seeking new inspiration and a deeper sense of creative expression, Michele relocated to Paris - a city that continues to nourish her aesthetic and artistic spirit. Today, she divides her time between Paris and New York, drawing insight from the lives and elegance of her discerning international clientele.
